Silver Stars guard Hammon to miss two road games

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Silver Stars today announced that guard Becky Hammon will leave the team for a week to join the Russian National Team. The Russian National Team is currently competing in the 2009 European Women's Basketball Championship in Latvia. Hammon will miss the Silver Stars next two games, at New York, on 6/19, and at Connecticut, on 6/21. She will be back in uniform when San Antonio hosts Phoenix on June 23 at the AT&T Center.
