Silver Cross Field to Host USO Variety Show

Joliet, IL - "Muster Call", a USO Variety Show, will be held this Saturday, October 24 from 10a-2p at Silver Cross Field in downtown Joliet. The event will honor our service men and women, especially those who served in the Vietnam War. The event is free and open to the public, with gates to the ballpark opening at 9a. Be sure to dress for the weather as the event will be held rain or shine.
"The Joliet JackHammers are proud to be apart of such a wonderful event," says Sean Keegan, Directory of Community Relations for the Joliet JackHammers. "These men and women have sacrificed so much for us, we are honored to have them here at Silver Cross Field."
Some of the performers and speakers at the event include: Comedian Jim Chronister as "Otis of Mayberry," Congress woman Debbie Halverson, Will County Executive Larry Walsh, The Righteous Hillbillies and many more.
