PITTSBURGH - Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC introduces the Riverhounds Corporate Classic, a unique event giving area businesses the chance for team building and networking while competing alongside coworkers in a fun and active tournament.
The Corporate Classic will be played during the week of September 25 and feature company teams competing in a 7v7 soccer tournament consisting of 40-minute matches. Games will be played at the AHN Montour Health + Sports Medicine Center in Coraopolis, with the final being played on September 30 prior to the Riverhounds' home finale against FC Tulsa.
Benefits for registration to the Corporate Classic include commemorative T-shirts for entrants and a discounted ticket rate to the Riverhounds' Sept. 30 match for employees and family members.
Registration for the Corporate Classic begins on June 15 with early-bird pricing period through July 30 of $2,000 per team. Standard pricing for registration will be $2,500, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to a charity to be announced at a later date.
