Sidewinders Return Home To Host Division Rival

Tucson, AZ - The Tucson Sidewinders will host the division rival Fresno Grizzlies for a 4-game homestand beginning Friday, August 10th at 7:00 p.m. The second place Sidewinders are coming off of a series victory in Omaha that moved the team just five games behind first place Sacramento.
The single series homestand will begin with a Fireworks Spectacular followed by back-to-back giveaway days. On Saturday, August 11th the first 2,000 kids 12 and under with paid admission will receive a back to school Sidewinders lunchbox.
The back to school theme will continue Sunday, August 12th when the first 1,000 kids 12 and under will receive a Sidewinders Backpack. The Sidewinders will also giveaway 1,000 backpacks during the team's following homestand on Sunday, August 19th as part of a rescheduled split giveaway due to July 28th's postponed contest.
Good seats remain for all games. The Tucson Electric Park box office can be reached at (520) 434-1021. Gates open one hour before game time unless otherwise noted.
