
Sidekicks Fall to Monterrey Flash 5-3

Allen, TX. - The Dallas Sidekicks faced the Monterrey Flash for the first time this season.
Sidekicks' player, Esai Romero scored the first goal of the game at the 4:50 minute mark. The goal was scored from distance. Six minutes later, Monterrey scored with the goal by Luis Genaro Castillo. At the end of the first quarter, the score was tied at 1.
Two minutes into the second quarter, Monterrey had its first lead in the game with the goal by Alexis Espinosa. Eight minutes later, Sidekicks' player Felipe Silva tied up the game at 2.
The third quarter had no goals on either side. However, both sides had shots on goal. Monterrey had two shots on goal and Dallas had three shots on goal.
The Sidekicks couldn't gain the lead in the fourth quarter allowing three unanswered goals. These goals were scored by Jorge Luis Cortés, Luis Genaro Castillo, and Mariano Amaro. At the 11:51 minute mark, Sidekicks' player Albert Rodriguez scored his 20th goal this season.
The Sidekicks have their final match of the season at Monterrey on Sunday, April 2nd at 4:30. The game will be streamed live on Twitch at twitch.tv/masl_soccer4.
