Shockwave roll out the turf (and the red carpet) at Cox Arena on March 27th

The San Diego Shockwave are pleased to announce a "Meet and Greet" team event on March 27th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Cox Arena on the campus at San Diego State University (SDSU).
There fans, sponsors and media can see the new Shockwave field for the first time while meeting players, coaches, and the Lady Shakers Dance Team. Player and dance team uniforms will also be unveiled. Food and refreshments will be provided as well as the opportunity to meet:
- The final roster of Shockwave players; several with local ties
- Coaching staff, led by Head Coach Bob Bees and Defensive Coordinator Montra Edwards
- Shockwave radio, TV and Cox Arena P.A. announcers - including XX Radio's Chris Ello and Fox Channel 6's C.S. Keys
- Shockwave team sponsors, including the U.S. Army, Hometown Buffet and many others
- Members of the talented dance team, the Lady Shakers
- Shockwave medical staff, chiropractors and trainers
"We've assembled a winning team, both on and off the field," promises Jeff Sprowls, President and GM. "We're just days away from exciting indoor football. I can't wait until kick-off on March 31st."
Single game, season and group tickets and packages are on sale for the 2007 Shockwave season.
The home season kicks off a week from Saturday on March 31st at 7:05 p.m. at Cox Arena on the campus at SDSU against the Los Angeles Lynx.
