Shockwave dancers, the Lady Shakers, Coaches entertain early morning NBC 7/39 TV audience

This past Sunday, February 25th on NBC 7/39's News This Weekend, viewers were treated to a performance by the exciting Lady Shakers, the San Diego Shockwave's talented dancer team.
News anchor Steven Luke also interviewed Lady Shakers' Dance Director, Chelsea Fiss and talked with Shockwave Coaches Bob Bees and Montra Edwards about plans for the upcoming season and the affordable, fan-friendly and unique brand of NIFL football.
The Lady Shakers will perform during every Shockwave home game at Cox Arena on the campus at San Diego State University (SDSU). In addition, the Lady Shakers will spend a great deal of time making appearances for sponsors and numerous fundraising events for local charities. Members of the team also will attend a number of team functions throughout the season.
"The Lady Shakers are a talented group of women who'll entertain our fans and further Shockwave community initiatives, such as supporting local charities," says Chelsea Fiss, Lady Shakers' Dance Team Director. "Although the Shockwave home opener isn't for another month (March 31st), we're receiving many requests for appearances and are already involved in a number of community and civic events."
