Tulsa Shock News Release

Tulsa, OK - The Tulsa Shock will be re-signing center Courtney Paris to fill the eleven-player roster on Saturday. Paris will replace Kayla Pedersen who was traded to Connecticut yesterday for a second round draft pick in 2014. Paris averaged 3.5 points per game and 3.3 rebounds per game in 23 games with Tulsa in 2012.

Paris was released before the cut down deadline in May for the final roster. Paris was briefly re-signed when Tulsa had three players out due to injury and played in two games. In those two games, Paris averaged 6.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.

Paris is expected to be in Tulsa today and to sign her contract tomorrow morning. Paris will attend the team's shoot-around tomorrow morning and will be in uniform tomorrow night against Seattle.
