
Shock to Host Free Basketbal Clinic in Moore, OK

Tulsa, OK - The Tulsa Shock players, coaches, staff and owners will be traveling to Moore, Oklahoma on Monday, June 17 to host a free basketball clinic at Westmoore High School from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The free clinic is available to any Moore elementary or middle school children whose schools were damaged or destroyed by the May 20 tornado. The Shock will also be touring Briarwood Elementary, Plaza Towers Elementary and Highland East Jr. High after the clinic. The clinic will be conducted by Shock players, coaching staff, and the Shock's statewide youth basketball organization, the Shock Basketball Academy.
"This terrible tragedy has affected our entire state of Oklahoma," said Steve Swetoha, Tulsa Shock President. "We're looking forward to spending time with the kids of Moore and those who have lost so many things through this trying time."
