TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa Shock will face the Minnesota Lynx in the home opener on Friday, May 23 to tip-off the team's Fifth Anniversary season. Tip-off will be at 7:00 p.m. WNBA President Laurel Richie will be in attendance and will take part in the pregame festivities in honor of the Shock's Fifth season in Tulsa.
Opening Day is presented by Osage Casino, the Shock's marquee partner. Each fan attending the game will receive a free Opening Day t-shirt as part of the arena "black-out." The Shock is placing a Fifth Anniversary logo black t-shirt on every seat, compliments of Osage Casino. The Shock enter Friday's game with a 0-1 record, after falling to the San Antonio Stars 76-80 in San Antonio last Saturday night.. The Minnesota Lynx will enter Friday's game with a 2-0 record and tied for first place in the Western Conference.
