
Shock Hire New Assistant Coach

Tulsa, OK - The Tulsa Shock announce the hiring of Stacey Lovelace as an Assistant Coach who will replace Kathy McConnell-Miller on the bench for the remainder of the 2013 season
Stacey Lovelace a Detroit, Michigan native and a graduate of Purdue University and is currently working on her M.A in Sports Management at the University of Michigan. Lovelace was the Big Ten Player of the Year in 1995 and is still Purdue's all-time leader in rebounds and blocked shots. In 2013 she will be inducted into the Purdue Hall of Fame.
Lovelace was a member of the University of Michigan's Women's Basketball in 2011-12. Lovelace's professional career included stops Europe, ABL and WNBA where she played with Detroit, Seattle, Seattle, Minnesota, Chicago, Washington and Atlanta from 2000 through 2008.
Lovelace also is the proud owner of Stacey Lovelace Basketball, LLC Skills Training for Girls in the offseason. Lovelace has a daughter, Ryann.
