Sharks Will Broadcast Home Opener

New York Sharks News Release


The New York Sharks are proud to announce that they will be broadcasting their home opener against the Montreal Blitz over the Internet. The game will be broadcasted on a tape delay on the evening of April 12th. Broadcaster Michael Artsis will be providing the play by play.

Celebrate Your Birthday With The Sharks

Come celebrate your child's birthday at a New York Sharks football game. Besides getting to see the IWFL Champions defend their title, they will receive lunch and ice cream, and a visit by Sharkie, our mascot. The birthday child will also receive a gift from the Sharks and get to watch the opening kickoff from the sidelines with the team. Click here for more information on our birthday package.

The IWFL Championship Game Comes to New York

The Independent Women's Football League has announced that the 2003 Championship Game will be held in New York City. The New York Sharks will act as the host for the game which will be held on July 12th. The game will be played at DaSilva Memorial Field on the campus of St. John's University in Queens, New York. More details will be announced soon.

Home Sweet Home

The New York Sharks will call two different places home this season. The team will split their home games between the football field at August Martin High School in Jamaica, Queens and their new home at Monsignor Farrell High School in Staten Island.
