Sharks return to the Championship Game

New York Sharks News Release


The New York Sharks defeated the Bay State Warriors in the IWFL Eastern Conference Championship Game, 20-6. The Sharks will now go on to play the Sacramento Sirens who had beaten the Chicago Force 47-7 for the IWFL Championship.

On offense, the Sharks were led by Missy Marmorale who scored twice, once from 1 yard out and another on a 19 yard scamper.

New York's defense was true to form, shutting down the Bay State running game. Warrior star Katia Pashkevitch who rushed for over 1,000 yards this season was held to a mere 36 yards. The only score for Bay State was on a 19-yard interception return.
