Play For The Sharks
Want to play for the world famous New York Sharks? The Sharks will be having their third and last tryout for the 2004 season. The tryout will be held on November 15th at Baisley Park in Jamaica, Queens.
Giants and Sharks
The New York Giants have asked the New York Sharks to help teach the Giant's Football 201 classes on Wednesday, November 12th. Football 201 is an interactive educational program designed exclusively for women. Football 201 "professors" include top Giants and Sharks players who discuss topics such as the history of the game, offense, defense, special teams, penalties, downs, official signals, and a week in the life of an NFL player during the season. The players even share some of their football superstitions and helpful hints on enjoying a game. The event will be covered by MSNBC, YES network, and many newspapers will be covering the event.
