Sharks Home Opener this Saturday at 3PM

See some hard-hitting football action as the New York Sharks open the 2003 season at home this Saturday, April 12th. They will be hosting the Montreal Blitz at August Martin High School, game time is 3pm. The Sharks will have plenty of festivities to kick off the new season, so join us and cheer on your favorite women's football team. Tickets are only $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and children.

Cheer New York Entertains The Fans

As part of the festivities on opening day, Cheer New York a volunteer cheerleading and dance squad will entertain the crowd before the game. Cheer New York provides an opportunity for LGBTS cheerleaders, dancers and gymnasts to share their talent, training, and experience with each other and the community.

The IWFL Championship Game Comes to New York he Independent Women's Football League has announced that the 2003 Championship Game will be held in New York City. The New York Sharks will act as the host for the game which will be held on July 12th. The game will be played at DaSilva Memorial Field on the campus of St. John's University in Queens, New York. Giant TV Raffle

We are happy to announce that P. C. Richard and sons are the Shark's newest sponsor. To celebrate their support, we will be raffling off a 50" big screen stereo television. Tickets cost $5 and can be purchased at the ballpark or through our official on-line store, The Bait Shop. The winning ticket will be selected at halftime on May 31st, during the game against the Albany Night-Mares. Only 1,200 tickets will be printed so your change are winning are very good!
