Sharks Rip Rhode Island

The New York Sharks (3-0) defeated the visiting Rhode Island Riptides (1-2) 62-0 to remain on top of the Mid Atlantic division. Staten Island local Virginia "Cha Chi" Leon starred in the game, scoring 4 touchdowns. Quarterback Val Halesworth had her best game of the year, passing for 292 yards and 4 touchdowns. Linebacker Darleen "Blue" Hall set a team record with an 80-yard interception return for a touchdown in Philadelphia. You can see the replay of her record return in our multimedia section.

Sharks Travel Upstate

The New York Sharks have this weekend off as they prepare for a trip to Albany. The Sharks will play the Night-Mares (0-1) in a big division game on May 10th at Bleeker Stadium. On May 17th, the Sharks will return to Staten Island to host the Philadelphia Liberty Belles at Monsignor Farrell High School. Game time is 7pm. Giant TV Raffle

We are happy to announce that P. C. Richard and Son are the Shark's newest sponsor. To celebrate their support, we will be raffling off a 50" big screen stereo television.
