
Shared Practices Highlight 2003 Preparations

NEW YORK â Preparations continue for the 2003 season as teams coordinate shared practices and scrimmages prior to Kickoff Weekend â January 31-February 2.
The Indiana Firebirds defeated the Grand Rapids Rampage, 43-41, on a last-second field goal in the first shared-scrimmage this past Monday.
"By far, this is the best evaluation training camp we will have because of the number of shared practices and scrimmages," said Grand Rapids Head Coach MICHAEL TRIGG.
The expansion Colorado Crush travel to America West Arena on January 19 to scrimmage the Arizona Rattlers, while the last two ArenaBowl champions â the San Jose SaberCats and Grand Rapids Rampage â will play at Compaq Center at San Jose on January 19. The New York Dragons, Buffalo Destroyers, Orlando Predators and Tampa Bay Storm will gather for two games at the Nassau Coliseum on January 22.
