
Shag's Knot Hole Gang plans announced; Greg Nota joins staff

The Nashua Pride's Kid's Club, âShag's Knot Hole Gang' is returning to Historic Holman Stadium for the third straight season in 2004. Although the Knot Hole Gang will continue to bear the name of the Pride's senior mascot, Shag the Lion will be on âShag's Summer Safari' during the 2004 season, exploring the United States and reporting on his travels to Pride fans & Knot Hole Gang members.
For just $25, kids 12 and under can be a part of this special club. Knot Hole Gang members receive special benefits, including free admission to every Tuesday âKnot Hole Gang' night Pride home game (11 in total), a free hot dog and soda on every Knot Hole Gang night, plus an official Knot Hole Gang T-shirt and membership card.
Members also receive additional benefits for attending as many of the Knot Hole Gang nights as possible. Members who attend at least five (5) of the Tuesday Knot Hole Gang Nights will receive a free ticket to the Pride's Sept. 19th Fan Appreciation Day with a special members-only pizza party. Members who attend all eleven (11) Knot Hole Gang Nights will receive a Pride team autographed item which will be presented to them at the Sept. 19th game, as well as taking part in the pre-game âField of Dreams' on-field during the national anthem.
More information on âShag's Summer Safari' will be coming over the next few months, but after spending his whole life in Nashua, Shag decided it was time for him to see more of the country this year. Fans will be able to follow Shag's tour on the Knot Hole Gang page at NashuaPride.com. The Safari will include contests and prizes, with more details to be released as the season approaches. Prime Time the Moose, the Pride's newest mascot who debuted in 2003, will pick up the slack in Shag's absence during 2004 Pride games and appearances.

PRIDE ADD TO FRONT OFFICE STAFF
After seeing Andy Crossley & Steve Cox head off to new endeavors, the Pride has recently solidified the front office staff for the coming season. After officially adding Brian Moynahan to the full time roster, the Pride have announced that GREG NOTA has joined the front office as Community Partnerships Coordinator. A 1999 graduate of Sacred Heart University with a degree in Media Studies, Greg brings a wide range of sports experience to the organization, having spent time with the Connecticut Skyhawks of the United States Basketball League and the Lowell Lock Monsters of the American Hockey League. A Massachusetts native, Greg currently resides in Tewksbury.
