August 3, 2005 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL)
Lincoln Capitols News Release
Lincoln, NE - - The Lincoln Capitols are proud to announce that Linebacker Seth Tucker has been selected to represent the Capitols in the first ever All-Star game to be held in Odessa, Texas on August 5th and 6th. The weekend includes an All-Star Skills Competition and a Professional Combine for scouts from various professional leagues, including the NFL, CFL and the AFL. The weekend will end with the All-Stars taking on the Pacific Central Division Champion Odessa Roughnecks in a full scale football game.
Due to injury, "Tuck" only appeared in half of the Capitols games this season, but still led the team in tackles and forced fumbles. The forced fumbles left Tucker in the middle of the pack in that category for the entire league, according to the NIFL Stats.
