Capitols take part in jail and bail to raise money for March of Dimes
Lincoln, NE - - The Lincoln Capitols, members of the NIFL, will be taking part in a March of Dimes jail and bail fundraiser. The Capitols will be serving jail time to help raise money to save babies. The money that is raised from this event will be used to improve the lives of Nebraska's babies by preventing birth defects and infant mortality. This is the mission of the March of Dimes and it is your mission, too. The Lincoln Capitols are proud to be taking part in this March of Dimes fundraiser. The Capitols' bail for March of Dimes is set at $1,000. The Capitols will be calling people to ask for their help to raise the bail, we need to be free again. If you want to donate to this cause, you can call the Capitols office at 477-8888. We are a football team willing to help our community.
In an upcoming event on August 27, the Capitols will be playing in a celebrity softball game in Fairfield, Nebraska. The festivities begin at 8am with a pancake breakfast at the auditorium. The Capitols will show off their softball skills at 7pm so come on out to Fairfield and join in the fun.
