Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and National Hockey League affiliate to the Vancouver Canucks, and American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves announce Kalamazoo's favorite mascot Slappy, presented by Consumers Credit Union will make two public appearances this weekend.
On Friday, May 3rd, Slappy will be at the Meijer Kids Fun Run starting at 6 p.m. cheering on all the runners at the Borgess Health& Fitness Center located at 3025 Gull Road.
Slappy will continue to stay fit on Saturday, May 4th, as the K-Wings mascot joins Consumers Credit Union at Walk MS Kalamazoo from 9-11 a.m. at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts located at 314 South Park Street in Kalamazoo.
