RiverCity Rage News Release

St. Louis, June 26, 2006-Friday night at Savvis Center, was the second time in as many games, and the second time in franchise history, that the Rage reached 100 + points, defeating the Tennessee Riversharks 108-12. The win against Tennessee brings the Rage to (12-1) this season and ensures that the Rage will finish the 2006 Regular Season undefeated in the Atlantic Conference

Friday night, although the Rage were solid on both sides of the ball, the defense really came up big. Tennessee was held to 28 passing yards on 33 attempts and 93 yards of total offense. The Riversharks were also stuck when it came to 3rd down conversions, being held to 1-12. Linebacker Terrell Washington was the Defensive Key Player of The Game, with three sacks, six tackles, and one fumble recovery which he ran 21 yards for a touchdown.

For the Rage Offense, Anthony Fisher completed 15-18 passes for 212 yards and 7 TD's, but it was Hurtis Chinn who was the Offensive Key Player of The Game, catching four touchdowns. Rage Running Back Kasey Young showed why he's on the roster rushing for three touchdowns after Sha-Ron Edwards was lost to injury.

All season long, the Rage have used the Red-zone as a weapon and Friday night wasn't different as the Rage Offense went 8-8 and the Rage Defense held Riversharks to 1-7.

Rage fans will get their next chance to see the team on the field Saturday July 15, when the Rage host one of the Atlantic Conference Semi Finals. Tickets for the playoffs are on sale at any Ticket Master Outlet or at Ticket Master Online.
