Second Shamrox scrimmage scheduled for this Saturday

SIX NATIONA, ONTARIO, CANADA - The Chicago Shamrox will play their second scrimmage game of the pre-season this Saturday, December 23 at 7:00pm (CST) against the Buffalo Bandits at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena in Six Nations, Ontario. The scrimmage game is the second and final pre-season game for the Shamrox in their preparation for the first-ever regular season game in their inaugural season on Saturday, January 6 at 7:30pm against the New York Titans at the Sears Centre arena.

Last Sunday, December 17, the Shamrox tied the Rochester Knighthawks 11-11 at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena. The scrimmage, the first one in team history, had the Shamrox leading 11-10 late in the fourth quarter until surrendering a power play goal to the Knighthawks with :38 remaining. The game ended in an 11-11 tie since the teams did not play overtime.

Admission to the Shamrox vs. Buffalo scrimmage is free and open to the public.

The Shamrox start indoor lacrosse play with their Home Opener on Sat., Jan. 6 at 7:30 p.m. against the New York Titans at the Home of the Shamrox, the Sears Centre arena in Hoffman Estates. The Shamrox host 8 home games, all on weekend dates.
