Baseball fans get ready for the Springfield/Ozark Mountain Ducks 2nd Annual Black & Gold baseball game! It will be held Monday, May 5 at 5 p.m. This is going to be an exciting event as it is an inter-squad game. The purpose for this inter-squad game is so that Head Coach Phil Wilson can make his final decision on the 24-man roster. This roster must be submitted to the league by midnight Monday.
All 32 players will be competing for a spot on the roster. Who will be one of the eight eliminated? No player, signed or unsigned is safe from the cut. No one knows until the limitless inning game is called finished by Phil Wilson. The Central Baseball League calls for a 24-man roster for 2 weeks, after that, the roster drops to 22 men.
Best of all, FREE admission and you can bring in your own food and drink! Come on out to Price Cutter Park on Monday, May 5 at 5pm and be the first to see the Ducks untouched and competing against one another for the love of the game!
