SeaWolves Tickets on Sale Saturday March 19

(Erie, PA) - The Erie SeaWolves, AA affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, announced today that individual game tickets for the 2011 season will go on sale Saturday, March 19 at Jerry Uht Park at 10 a.m. The team also introduced its first set of 2011 game day promotions, which includes 12 fireworks shows throughout the season.

"We are thrilled to share some of the fun that SeaWolves fans will enjoy at Jerry Uht Park this season," Team President Greg Coleman said. "We look forward to providing plenty of high-quality, affordable family entertainment starting with Opening Night on April 7."

The SeaWolves open the 2011 campaign on Thursday, April 7 when they host the defending Eastern League Champion Altoona Curve at 6:35 p.m. In addition to getting their first look at the 2011 team, the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a schedule poster courtesy of Delta Sonic.

The centerpiece of the 2011 promotional schedule will be 12 post-game fireworks shows, the most in team history. The team also has several entertainers set to appear including the Purina Incredible Dog Team, which comes to the ballpark on June 3 and 4.

March 19 will be the first opportunity for SeaWolves fans to purchase individual game tickets and pick up mini-plan ticket packs. Fans can also purchase the SeaWolves 7-Game All-You-Can-Eat Wolfpack Plan. Each plan includes tickets to seven weekend games featuring the top promotions, an All-You-Can-Eat meal featuring Smith's hot dogs and sausages, hamburgers, two Pepsi soft drinks and a SeaWolves cap.

UPMC Health Plan once again will "Paint the Park Pink" from May 27-29. Last season, over $3,200 was raised to benefit the Regional Cancer Center and the Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation, marking the highest total in the history of the event.

On the first day of availability, tickets can be purchased from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in person at the stadium ticket office or by calling (814) 456-1300. Tickets can also be purchase online at SeaWolves.com.
