
Seattle Mountaineers Sign Nations Leading Rebounder

The Seattle Mountaineers of the ABA announced today, they have signed outstanding center, 6-7, 250 lbs, Juan Paulino. Juan, a Bronx, NY native comes to the Mountaineers from Wells College (NY), where he was the 2009-2010 Division III Nations leading rebounder 16.5 a game and scored 17.9 points a game. Juan accumulated 24 games with double doubles, this past season. He was a JUCO 3rd team All American at Finger lakes CC (NY) 23pts, 11 rebounds a game, in 2005-2006. " We are extremely pleased to sign a player of Juan ability and he will help sure up our rebounding concerns", stated Coach Sims.
The Mountaineers open the ABA season in early November with several exhibition games, before embarking on a 3 game Midwest road trip to Indiana and Michigan against Nationally ranked ABA teams.
