Seattle Mountaineers opens season at Idaho Stampede

The #11 ranked Seattle Mountaineers of the American Basketball Association (ABA) opens the 2010-2011 season against the NBA Development League team, the Idaho Stampede in a pre-season game. The November 18th game will be in Boise, Idaho at Qwest arena, 7:00pm.

The remainder of the Mountaineers schedule has the team travelling to Michigan, Indiana, Las Vegas, Canada and California. The Mountaineers will play 14 of its 23 games against teams ranked in the ABA Pre-season top 24.

" We have put together a schedule that will prepare us for a run at the ABA Championship", stated Coach Sims. The Mountaineers are led by returning starters Rashaad Powell 6-6, swingman and Brian Spielman, 6-10, center.
