Seattle Mountaineers Leave NABL
May 25, 2010 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Seattle Mountaineers News Release
The Seattle Mountaineers announced today that they are leaving the NABL league immediately. "We have severed our relationship with the NABL as of today", stated Seattle Mountaineers President Don Sims. "The NABL was not a good fit for our organization and we need to go in another direction. We will concentrate our energy and resources towards our upcoming ABA season. I wish the NABL well".
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams. For information on professional minor leagues, please see OSC's basketball section.
