Since his introduction more than two decades ago, the Mariner Moose has become one of the most recognized mascots in sports, entertaining millions of fans throughout the United States and abroad. In addition to entertaining Mariners fans, young and old, the Moose is proud to be a wonderful symbol of the great Northwest.

Dave Valle started his pro career in 1984 with the Seattle Mariners. He played in 970 big League games with 658 hits in 2,775 ABs. Dave collected 658 hits including 121 doubles, 12 triples and 77 HR's and threw out 278 runners trying to steal a base. Valle finished his career in 1996 with the Texas Rangers. He later became a broadcaster with the Mariners and the MLB Network. This season he will be the Manager of Seattle's Single A Affiliate the Everett AquaSox.

Both the Moose and Valle will conduct a meet and greet session at Vince Genna Stadium on Sunday March 30th from 3-5pm for fans. They will conduct a chalk talk on the game of baseball with Little League players and coaches. An Autograph session will take place afterwards. This event is free to attend.
