Season one comes to a close and the women of the Scorpions get ready for the awards

Temecula, CA. - The So Cal Scorpions ended season one with a win in Arizona October 18th, to close their inaugural season with a 4-6 record, and 4th place in their division.

"I am pleased with how this season came out considering the injuries and obstacles we faced as a new team this season". Stated head coach Mike Suggett. "We played teams with 4 and 5 year veterans and took them down to the wire".

"Injuries took a toll on our roster, but we will be better prepared for 2004". "We have a great fan base here; we want to give them the wins they deserve." "I know in 9 months, this team will be one that will put Temecula on the map for professional sports".

The Scorpions are having their end of the season awards banquet at La Estancia Inn on November 5th. Fans and the media are invited for the ceremony at 8:30 PM.
