RECENT NEWS - SEALS IN THE COMMUNITY
- August 1st, 2006 - Orlando Police Department National Night Out - Sealvester rode along with the Orlando Police Department as a part of National Night Out. There were various block parties thrown throughout designated neighborhoods in Orlando as Sealvester and Knightro from UCF teamed up to visit fans all over the city.
- August 4th, 2006 - Denn John Middle Open House - The Seals staff will be on hand at Denn John Middle's Open House this Friday. The staff will be present to talk parents and students about the upcoming season and pass along ticket information.
- August 9th, 2006 - Kissimmee Business After Hours - Seals staff will once again be on hand at the after hours to mingle with current and future business partners within the community
- August 11th, 2006 - St. Cloud Friday Night Live - The Staff and Sealvester will be present to participate in the festivities.
- August 12th, 2006 - St. Cloud Rec. Fest
- August 15th, 2006 - Kissimmee CVB Breakfast - Seals Staff will be present to participate in this month's breakfast.
- August 17th, 2006 - St. Cloud Business After Hours
- August 17th, 2006 - Seminole County Boy Scouts Round Table Meeting - Seals Staff will attend the meeting to speak about the up coming Scout Nights this season.
- August 26th, 2006 - Brevard County Manatee's Game - Ice Girls, Staff, and Sealvester will be on hand to take in a fun day of baseball and make sure that the Brevard County faithful are ready for another season of hockey.

Seals ads featured on LYNX busses
[KISSIMMEE, Fla.] - The Florida Seals have partnered with LYNX - Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority. The Seals ad will be featured on 21" x 72" tail panels on LYNX busses in Orlando, Kissimmee, St. Cloud and Lake Buena Vista.
"This is the time of year where it is crucial for us to elevate our marketing efforts and we are very excited to partner with LYNX," states Jordan Bartels, Director of Corporate Sales & Marketing. "Advertising with LYNX will give us tremendous exposure and create awareness for the Seals throughout Kissimmee, St. Cloud and greater Orlando."
LYNX is the public transit provider for Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties. LYNX has broken ridership records in 22 of the last 23 years and expects to continue that streak while providing more than 82,000 passenger trips a week. Seventy-five percent of LYNX riders are going to work, making LYNX the economic engine for Central Florida. "While you may not depend on LYNX, someone you depend on does,'' LYNX Chief Executive Officer Linda Watson said. "We are a vital component of Central Florida's economy and as our system continues to grow, we will become an even bigger part in the years to come.''

The Florida Seals are asking the fans to white out the building on opening night, so remember this October 27th - "WEAR WHITE TO OPENING NIGHT!"
