Florida Seals News Release

KISSIMMEE, Fla.]-The Seals quest for third place took a positive turn with a 3-1 with over Fayetteville Tuesday night at the Silver Spurs Arena. The win moved the Seals one point ahead of Fayetteville and two ahead of Huntsville in the tight Southern Professional Hockey League standings.

Craig Miller had a big night scoring the first and last goal for the Seals. His line mates Justin Keller and Rob Sich also had big nights on the ice. The Seals second line combined for six points in the winning effort.

Miller beat FireAntz goalie Chad Collins with a wrist shot 13:20 into the game. Things got physical just a few minutes later when Ryan Rivard dropped the gloves for the second time on the night. The brawl seemed to spark the Seals.

Only 43-seconds later, Keller used the momentum and notched his second point of the evening with a goal at 17:50. The Seals rode the 2-0 lead into the first intermission.

Fayetteville came out in the second period looking to tie the game. Troy Linna took advantage of a delayed Seals penalty and scored with an extra attacker on the ice cutting the gap to one.

The Seals once again extended the lead back to a pair of goals early in the third period as Miller lit the lamp for the second time. Keller passed the puck to Sich behind the FireAntz net, where Sich looked to move the puck to the front of the net. Collins saved Sich's initial shot but Miller pounced on the rebound and punched it to the back of the net.
