Seals Support Home of Guiding Hands' Rockin' for a Cause Gala on Saturday, May 2nd

Being great community partners is a core tenet of the San Diego Seals and the team is excited to join forces with Home of Guiding Hands to support their 52nd Annual "Legends Among Us: Rockin' for a Cause" Gala. It will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego (207 Fifth Avenue, San Diego, CA).

Home of Guiding Hands is a nonprofit organization that provides quality support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and funds raised from the Gala will support their efforts.

"Home of Guiding Hands provides a vast array of programs and support for individuals with disabilities and their families all the way from birth through adulthood," said Seals CEO Paul Speaker. "We had the pleasure of partnering with them several years ago during San Diego County's Down Syndrome Awareness Week. They continue to do incredible work for San Diegans with developmental disabilities, and the Seals want to continue to back those efforts."

Now in its 52nd year, the gala will be an unforgettable evening of energy, celebration, and purpose, as Home of Guiding Hands honors the legends in the community who make a lasting impact for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Guests will enjoy an elevated dining experience featuring passed hors d'oeuvres, a three-course dinner with wine service, and two complimentary beverages. The night will come alive with live music and dancing, along with interactive photo opportunities and casino-style entertainment, where each guest will receive a minimum of $50 in Casino Fun Money. Additional surprises and curated experiences will take place throughout the evening, and complimentary valet parking will be provided for all attendees.

This vibrant evening of celebration and impact will help the crucial services Home of Guiding Hands offers. Serving more than 5,000 infants, children, adolescents, and adults, Home of Guiding Hands is committed to providing quality community support, critical housing and life skills training for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. The organization's commitment goes beyond providing quality programs; they are deeply invested in creating a community that actively empowers people to create and lead fulfilling, high-quality lives.
