LAST WEEK:
THU Nov. 24 SEALS @ Huntsville (4-3 OT WIN) 8:05 p.m. Von Braun Center
The Seals made their maiden voyage to Huntsville on Thanksgiving Night. Florida moved on very thankful as they grabbed their first overtime win of the season. Justin Keller had his bet game of the season with three points. Lawne Snyder tied the game up with just over five minutes to go on a power play goal. David Deeves put the game away in overtime with just 40-seconds left on the clock.
FRI Nov. 25 SEALS @ Columbus (4-3 loss) 7:30 p.m. Columbus Civic Center
History was made as the defending SPHL champions hosted the Seals for the first time in either team's history. Florida built too big of a mountain to climb, going down two goals in the first period. The Seals fought back in the final frame scoring two goals to cut the Cottonmouths lead down to a single goal with over ten minutes remaining. Columbus was sparked by Lorne Misita's return to the lineup as the forward registered three assist in the win.
SAT Nov. 26 Columbus @ SEALS (3-2 WIN) 7:35 p.m. Silver Spurs Arena
History was again made as the Cottonmouths made their first trip to Central Florida. Revenge was on the mind for Florida as David Deeves started the scoring off just 1:33 into the game. It was Deeves third goal in four games. Steve Zoryk owned the second period scoring two goals to give Florida the lead for good. The win moved the Seals into fourth place in the SPHL.
