Florida Seals News Release

Down The Stretch: The Orlando Seals are down to the final two weekends of regular season play, locked in a tight battle for a playoff spot with the Macon Trax and Miami Manatees, and play those two teams this week. The Seals host the Manatees Thursday at 7:05 p.m. They then play at Lakeland Friday at 7:05 p.m. and travel to Macon for a 6:05 face-off time on Saturday. Saturday's game was moved up from its original 7:35 start. All Seals games can be heard on www.IRN.FM.

Week In Review: The Seals started a three game road trip with a hard fought 2-1 win over the Macon Trax on Thursday night. That win moved the Seals past Macon into fourth place in the league standings, which is the final playoff spot. The Seals then dropped two tough games, losing 4-2 in Jacksonville and 3-1, with an empty net goal in Alabama on Saturday night.

Back In Action: The Seals welcomed back Ryan Anderson to the line up in Saturday's game at Alabama. He returned to action after serving a six game suspension.

Out Of Action: Center Jerry Keefe suffered an injured shoulder in Friday night's game against Jacksonville, and missed Saturday's game. He's been placed on the injured reserve list. The Seals have also moved left winger Simon Duplessis onto the season ending injured reserve list.

Top Gun: B.J. Stephens has moved into first place in the WHA2 goal scoring race, now with 33 goals on the campaign.

Got Tickets?: Seals tickets are available at all Ticketmaster outlets and online at www.ticketmaster.com. Ticket information is available by calling the Seals at (407) 447-PUCK (7825).
