Seals Make Roster Moves

The Orlando Seals start the new calendar year with a slightly new look to their line up.

Center Jerry Keefe, out of the line up since getting injured February 5th, has been activated from the injured reserve list, and is expected to play tonight, when the Seals visit the Jacksonville Barracudas. The Seals also expect to have Mike Sanderson back in the line-up for the Friday encounter at Jacksonville.

Left winger Simon Duplessis has been placed on injured reserve, after his injury sustained Wednesday night in the Seals 6-5 shootout win at Lakeland. Adam Campana remains on the injured list. The Seals also waived Matt Brown. In 16 games this season, Brown had one goal and four assists for five points and also 53 penalty minutes and was a minus four. The Seals have also signed forward Jessy Berube who played three games like years for them.

After tonight's game in Jacksonville, the Seals travel to Macon to take on the Trax, Saturday night.

The Seals return home on Thursday January 8th to face the Alabama Slammers at 7:05 p.m.
