Florida Seals News Release
ORLANDO, FL â After making a championship statement in their first season, the Orlando Seals will be making a bold fashion statement in the 2003-04 season.
On various special occasions this season, the Seals will wear a third jersey, different in color and style from their regular home and road jerseys. The third jerseys are made possible through a partnership deal with Bay Technologies Incorporated which sells telecommunications equipment and hardware.
"Number one, because I'm an ardent fan, and number two because we use the game to entertain our clients," Larry Shouse, president of Bay Technologies said in explaining his company's reason for teaming with the Seals. "We take them to the tailgating parties and then into the game. It's a really relaxed way to entertain our clients, and it will be great when they see Bay Technologies name on the Seals jerseys"
General manager Joe Fellini said the partnership to provide an alternate jersey is a plus for the team and fans. "We're delighted to have Bay Technologies come on board. And having an alternate jersey will add another top element to our presentation."
Fellini said the Seals will unveil the third jersey, once the design is finalized. The Seals are holding an open discussion session on Saturday at noon at Kerryman's Pub on 434.
Season tickets for the President Cup Champion Orlando Seals are now on sale. Fans can call (407) 447-PUCK (7825) for season ticket information.
