
Screaming Eagles Trade Dion to Voltigeurs

BOUCHERVILLE, Wednesday, January 5, 2011 ¬" With just over twenty-four hours to go before the end of the trade period in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, a few teams decided to pull the trigger on a few moves.
The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles traded left-winger Pier-Antoine Dion (91-04-25) to the Drummondville Voltigeurs for a first round pick in the 2011 entry draft. Dion has recorded 13 goals and 10 assists in 41 games so far this season.
Moreover, the Voltigeurs sent forward Julien Tremblay (91-12-29) to the Baie-Comeau Drakkar for a seventh round pick in 2011.
Of note, the trade period ends tomorrow at noon.
