
Screaming Eagles Complete Two Deals at Deadline

Sydney - The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles completed two trades prior to the leagues 1:00pm (AST) trade period deadline today.
The Screaming Eagles sent overage forward Alexandre Lavoie (1992-11-17) to Rimouski in exchange for a 3rd round pick in 2014 and the return of Cape Breton's 9th round pick in 2013. Lavoie played 68 career games with the Screaming Eagles and recorded 34 goals and 28 assists. Lavoie was originally acquired by the Screaming Eagles from the Chicoutimi Sagueneens during the 2011-12 mid-season trade period in exchange for a 4th round 2012 draft pick.
Additionally, the Screaming Eagles acquired 18-year-old defensemen Samuel Robert (1994-05-24) from the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in exchange for a 7th round pick in 2014. Robert recorded 1 goal, 11 assists, and a +17 rating in 89 career games with the Titan.
The Screaming Eagles next home game is Wednesday, January 9th at 7pm against the Gatineau Olympique.
