Scouts will spend the night on the Detroit Fury field
WHEN: SATURDAY, MAY 18, 2002 @ 11:00 P.M.
Scouts will attend Detroit Fury vs. Indiana Firebirds game @ 7:30 p.m.

THE DETROIT FURY ARENA FOOTBALL TEAM
WHY: To promote scouting and introduce cub scouts to the Detroit Fury Arena Football Team. Scouts and their parents will attend the Detroit Fury versus Indiana Firebirds game. After the game, the participating scouts will be given a private tour of the facility, will participate in a tug-o-war, will compete in a football toss and end zone challenge and then will be addressed by Fury Head Coach Mouse Davis and a Fury player. The scouts and their chaperones will then set up sleeping bags and gear on the Fury field and spend the night in The Palace. Wake-up is at 6:00 a.m. Sunday morning and scouts will leave the building by 6:30 a.m. For their experience, scouts will receive merit badges.
