
Scorpions Face MLS Side FC Dallas Tonight at 8pm in U.S. Open Cup Match

San Antonio, TX (June 17, 2014) - The Scorpions travel north on I-35 tonight to play Major League Soccer club FC Dallas in the fourth round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Kickoff is at 8pm and the winner will be going on the road to play the Houston Dynamo June 24 or 25. Should San Antonio advance, it will be the first time in club history they've made it to the fifth round of the tournament.
The San Antonio Scorpions' next home match will be on July 19th at 7:30pm against the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers.
San Antonio will host three major international friendlies this summer at Toyota Field. On June 21st at 7:30pm, they will face Tigres de la UANL. June 28th at 7:30pm, the Scorpions play the Mexican National Team Under-21 squad and then on July 6th at 6:00pm, the Scorpions will take on Club de Fútbol Monterrey.
