Scorpions Come out of Tryouts Ready to Sting

(San Diego, CA) The So Cal Scorpions women's professional football team completed their group tryouts this weekend very optimistic about 2004.

With key veterans in attendance, including 2003 team MVP Desiree Barry, the Scorpions welcomed rookie potentials and former starters from the ,now independant, Sunfire roster.

"I am very pleased at the talent we have coming out, but we have alot of work ahead" Stated Scorpions head coach Nate Benjamin.

"Everyone seems really pumped up about 2004, you can feel it on the field" Stated Co-Owner Ann Bagala.

The Scorpions will head into Mini Camp May 15th and 16th, with private tryouts for a few that missed the deadline the morning of the first day.
