SCL announces championship dates

CONYERS, GA - The South Coast League of Professional Baseball has announced the schedule for this weekend's inaugural SCL Championship Series between the Macon Music and South Georgia Peanuts. The battle for supremacy in the Peach State, along with the Ferro Cup, will be on the line in a best of three series beginning Friday night.
Macon will host game one on Friday night at 7:05 at Luther Williams Stadium. South Georgia, winner's of the first half of the SCL season, will play host for games 2 and 3 (if necessary) in Albany, GA at Paul Eames Stadium.
SCL Championship Series (Best-of-three)
Game 1 - Friday, August 31st - 7:05 PM - Luther Williams Stadium - Macon
Game 2 - Saturday, September 1st - 7:10 PM - Paul Eames Stadium - Albany
Game 3 (If Necessary) - Sunday, September 2nd - TBA - Paul Eames Stadium - Albany
Tickets are currently on sale for Game 1 in Macon by calling (478) 749-1819. Boxed seats are $10 and General Admission seats are $8. Tickets are also on sale for Game 2 in Albany by calling (229) 435-8900. All seats are just $10! Tickets for Game 3 will go on sale immediately following Game 2.
