
Savannah Wildcats To Call A.E. Beach High School Home

The Savannah Wildcats of the Continental Basketball League have announced they will play their home games at A.E. Beach High School in Savannah. Team owner Lamont Moreno made the announcement on Tuesday.
A.E. Beach High School is located at 3001 Hopkins Street in Savannah and will host all eight of the Wildcats home games. Wildcats owner Lamont Moreno says of the announcement, "We chose A.E. Beach not only because of their facilities, but their history as well. This is a school that was opened back in 1867 to educate newly freed slaves and has notable alumnus that include Savannah mayor Otis Johnson. We are pleased to be playing at such an outstanding facility."
The Continental Basketball League is a five team league based in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The league will play a 16 game schedule with teams in Birmingham; Marietta, GA; Wilmington, NC; Fayetteville, NC and Savannah, GA.
