Sara Thompson to Throw Out First Pitch on June 18

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Thomas Kleinman, Owner and General Manger of the Philadelphia Force is happy to announce that Sara Thompson, Softball Manager for Little League International will throw out the first pitch on Thursday, June 18 prior to the start of the 7:35 p.m. contest between the Force and the Chicago Bandits at ECTB Stadium.

Since the team's inception, the Force has worked closely with Little League Softball, which has become the largest youth organization in the world, with nearly 400,000 children playing year round. "Partnering with National Pro Fastpitch created the chance to promote the positive and unique aspects of softball as a sport, while helping to motivate children to play the game. This year's national and regional Little League Softball days go a long way toward accomplishing these goals and I am excited to be a part of them." said Sara.

The Force (1-4) will make their home debut against the Bandits (4-1) on Tuesday, June 16th at ECTB Stadium. Game one of the five game series is scheduled to begin at 7:35 p.m. EST.
