DANBURY WINS IN OVERTIME IN FINALS REMATCH

DANBURY, CT -- Dalton Jay scored two goals, including the game winner in overtime, as the Danbury Titans defeated the Port Huron Prowlers in a rematch of last year's Commissioner's Cup Finals on Friday night at Danbury Ice Arena.

PROWLERS HANG ON, WIN 2-1 OVER TITANS

After the previous evening's 4-3 overtime victory by the Titans against Port Huron, hopes were high that Danbury could follow up with a second victory before departing for Cornwall. However, Jo St. Pierre would steal the show as the Titans would fall by a 2-1 score.

TITANS FALL TO CORNWALL AT THE END OF A LONG WEEKEND

CORNWALL -- With the Nationals on a 5-on-3 powerplay, Anthony Mezzagno opened the scoring at 8:45 of the first with a perfectly placed wrist shot that beat Bobby Bowden over the shoulder. Moments later, Maxime Guyon buried a nice feed from Lou Dickenson for another powerplay marker at 9:43.

Fans of the Month!

The Danbury Titans would like to introduce Ed and Katie Lockwood, our December Fans of the Month! Ed is President of the Danbury Titans Booster Club and also volunteers as an off ice official running a penalty box door at our home games. Katie is also a board member of the booster club and is responsible for coordinating pre-game meals and road trip snacks. Katie has come to be known as the "cookie Lady" around Titan Town! The Lockwoods have been great fans of Danbury hockey for several years and we appreciate all the things they do for our team.

BOOSTER CLUB!

The Booster Club had a very successful weekend. The 2nd Annual Ornament Auction on Friday night raised a whopping $614, and the 50-50 winner on Saturday night went home with $277! Thanks to all the fans for your support that allows us to support our players! Our Winter Bash is coming up in January, and Booster club members will get first dibs at tickets at a discounted rate.
