The 2013 All-Star Game logo is a tribute to the tradition and history surrounding the game and the San Jose Giants. The stars around the outside represent each of the 17 years the California-Carolina League All-Star Game has been played. The palm trees allude to the connection between San Jose and San Francisco. Prospects aim for the palm trees beyond the fence at Municipal Stadium before having the opportunity to walk through the palm tree lined gates at AT&T Park as a Major League Baseball player. The orange star was inspired by the 2007 San Francisco Giants All-Star logo, San Jose's Major League Affiliate. The diamond represents the setting of the California sun as well as the colors and logo of the organization. The SJ is placed at home plate as the trademark of the San Jose Giants.
