NEW YORK - The San Jose SaberCats (9-3) became the second team and first from the American Conference to clinch a playoff berth with their 48-34 victory over the Nashville Kats (5-8).
San Jose, who leads the Mitsubishi Motors Western Division, hosts the Orlando Predators (7-5) on Friday, June 1 at 10:30 p.m. ET (SUN Sports - Live, FSN Bay Area - SDD, 6/2, at 3 a.m. ET).
