San Francisco Dragons News Release

San Francisco, CA - San Francisco General Manager Doug Locker and Head Coach Brian Silcott announced today that the Dragons have named Ned Webster as Assistant Lacrosse Coach. Webster is currently Head Lacrosse Coach at Dominican University in San Rafael, California.

Webster comes from a deep-rooted lacrosse family. His father Mickey was a Hall of Fame attackman and three-time National Champion at Johns Hopkins University, and brother's Jim and John played lacrosse at University of Virginia and University of North Carolina, respectively. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Webster began his lacrosse career at Boy's Latin School in Baltimore, MD.

As Coach at Dominican University, he led the team to a 7-7 record in only its third season - his second as Head Coach. In addition to his background at Dominican, he coached the Wanneroo Lacrosse Club in Western Australia.

"We are really pleased to add Ned to our staff and feel he will complement our team and organization," commented Locker. "Ned has a great lacrosse mind and we are excited to have him with us."

The San Francisco Dragons open training camp on April 28th and 29th at Woodside High School in Woodside, CA.
