July 25, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
San Diego Wildcats News Release
San Diego, CA. The ABA San Diego Wildcats will host a second rookie/free agent tryout camp for the upcoming 2007-08 season on Sunday, August 5, 2007 at the Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in San Diego, CA from noon to 3pm. The San Diego Wildcats were very pleased with the success of the first tryout camp; however, they feel that America's finest city, San Diego, has more talented basketball players waiting to be discovered.
The individuals who plan to tryout for the Wildcats are to register at the Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center the day of the tryout, the players are also required to pay a $50 registration fee and should be in great physical shape.
The San Diego Wildcats tryouts are an open event that is free to the media and general public. For more information, please visit the website at www.sandiegowildcats.com or www.abalive.com. Or you can call owner Anthony Lacey at 619 701 3136. Directions to the tryouts are on the Wildcats website.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
